Alchemist: field notes
Reagents, concoctions and volatile attacks.

The vocation in a hunt
Concoctions and volatile attacks give this vocation its own resource decisions. Check what the selected skills consume and what conditions they create.
Equipment and resources
Plan supplies and equipment around the rotation. Repeated area effects follow the same enemy-level protection as the other damage channels.
A useful first comparison
Start with a familiar hunting area and change one part of the build at a time. Review kills, resource use and survival. The skill tree and class-compatible equipment offer decisions, but a larger number alone does not establish a stronger overall routine.
Reagents are a combat resource
Basic hits generate reagents for mixtures, bombs and mutation. These reagents are separate from health and mana potion stock; using a concoction is not the same operation as drinking a stored flask. Chain Reaction combines area pressure with health recovery.
The preparation cannot last forever
Mixtures and mutation are not refreshed indefinitely while already active. The rotation alternates preparation and expenditure, with poison, frost and fire solving different encounter problems. A temporary shield or stronger basic attack should be evaluated as a window, alongside the time needed to build the next reagents.
