Why a vocation cannot equip everything
A weapon needs to fit both its slot and the character’s path.

Start with compatibility
Equipment has class restrictions. An item found by one character is not automatically usable by that vocation. Check the item’s requirements before investing materials or replacing an existing piece.
Hands matter
One-handed and two-handed weapons use different arrangements. A two-handed weapon occupies the space needed for an off-hand item. Off-hand choices also depend on vocation; a necromancer’s focus is not interchangeable with every shield or quiver.
Compare the whole build
An impressive attack value may come with lost defence, resource support or a broken set bonus. Compare the final arrangement rather than a single highlighted attribute. The better choice is the one that improves the encounters the character actually faces.
The level requirement remains
Finding or receiving a powerful item does not remove its equip requirement. Even an item delivered through an account product must match the character’s vocation and required level before it can be worn. A future upgrade can be kept for later without replacing equipment that currently works.
An off-hand has a role
A shield, quiver, grimoire or phylactery is part of a particular equipment arrangement. For a necromancer, a suitable focus can support spellcasting or summons; a shield is not the universal default for every path. When comparing a two-handed weapon, include the off-hand that must be removed. Its lost bonuses are part of the trade.
