Planning an hour with an elixir

A boost is most useful when the hunt is ready before the flask is used.

Match the effect to the activity

Experience and learning elixirs affect different progression systems. Read the effect and strength on the product before activating it. The product’s description is more useful than choosing the largest percentage without considering the session.

Use the available time

Elixirs have a 60-minute base duration. They can be used away from a safe zone. Prepare supplies and the intended hunt before activation so the effect supports useful play instead of time spent organising equipment.

Check active effects

Only one effect from the same category is active at a time. The interface explains stacking and waiting rules. Read that state before buying or consuming another flask; a second item does not necessarily begin a separate simultaneous boost.

An account item must be used

Owning an elixir in the account inventory is different from having its effect active on the character. Choose the intended character, check the category and use the flask through the account store. The remaining effect belongs to that journey. There is no requirement to return to a safe zone just to activate it.

Use the correct progression category

Character experience raises character level. Learning elixirs support talent training experience from kills, within the talent tree’s rules. They are not an unlimited replacement for every trained discipline. Read the effect description and active-effect state together before committing a stronger flask to a session.
