Gold, essence and rubies

Three currencies with different jobs.

Gold

Gold supports ordinary gameplay spending, including health and mana supplies. Automatic potion purchasing uses this budget. Selling unwanted equipment is one way to replenish it, and death carries an economic cost.

Essence

Essence supports equipment progression and workshop work. It is distinct from the account’s ruby balance. Check the displayed cost of a workshop action before choosing an upgrade.

Rubies

Rubies belong to the account economy and are used for the products listed in the store, including elixirs, collection items and backpack expansions. Real-money checkout is not active yet. Existing test balances are not paid balances, and an unavailable checkout does not make a charge.

Account balance and character supplies

Rubies and account products are shared through the account economy. Gold and essence belong to the individual character’s journey. Switching character slots therefore does not imply that every resource counter should match. Check the active character before spending on supplies or applying a character-specific delivery.

An everyday gold budget

Gold becomes practical when potion consumption is treated as a running expense. A hunt can produce experience while still draining the purse. Compare the balance before and after a short trial, including supplies bought automatically. Selling selected equipment can fund the next session; recycling trades some of that gold return for materials.
