Reading a boss drop table
A reward preview describes possibilities, not a guaranteed shopping list.

Inspect before committing
Boss entries show the rewards associated with an encounter. The preview helps choose a target for a particular equipment goal. Check the encounter’s level and danger as carefully as the attractive item in its reward list.
Plan repeated attempts
Bosses can be fought again after their respawn conditions are met. Rare rewards can take repeated kills. A sustainable routine accounts for supplies, the time needed to kill the boss and the cost of a failed attempt.
Keep the alternatives visible
Ordinary hunts, quests and equipment improvements can prepare the character for a harder encounter. Repeating a boss that consistently kills the character is not the only way forward. Progress elsewhere can change the next attempt.
Separate the kinds of reward
The boss preview separates unique and set equipment, generic equipment and gems. Class, slot and difficulty filters narrow the actual possibilities. The unique and set category shares a special roll; seeing several attractive entries does not mean each one receives an independent guaranteed attempt on every victory.
A route beyond a single lucky kill
Qualified dungeon victories also contribute guardian marks. Those marks are separated by guardian and difficulty and can be exchanged through the hunt reward interface for eligible pieces. This provides a longer equipment goal alongside random drops. Consult the displayed offer and mark balance before choosing a target, because marks from another guardian or difficulty are not interchangeable.
