The missing piece of a set
Set bonuses reward combinations, while individual attributes still matter.

Recognise the set
Set equipment uses a vivid green rarity treatment. Its value includes the bonuses available when compatible pieces are worn together. Inspect the set information alongside each piece’s own attributes.
Build toward a combination
A single set piece may not immediately outperform an established item. Keeping a promising piece can make sense when another drop would complete a useful combination. Inventory space and the needs of the current hunt remain part of that decision.
Choose the source
Boss information exposes possible rewards. A drop listing is a possibility, not a promise on the next kill. Repeated appropriate encounters form the equipment hunt, and rare combinations should be evaluated against their actual benefit to the vocation.
Count equipped pieces, not possessions
The relevant combination is the equipment being worn. Several set items stored in the backpack do not activate the same bonuses as an equipped set. Read the set’s listed piece thresholds and inspect the build after changing slots. Different sets should be evaluated by their own listed effects, not by assuming that every green item belongs to one universal combination.
A second piece can change the decision
It can be reasonable to keep a promising piece that is not yet an immediate upgrade. Another compatible drop may unlock a bonus and change the comparison. Favouriting important alternatives helps separate that deliberate collection from ordinary sorting. Bulk actions protect set pieces, so they remain available for this later decision.
