Repeatable hunts and the Endless Rift

Boss loot you can plan for and a changing dungeon with no last floor.

Repeatable boss hunts offer specific vestiges to work toward a chosen item between victories. The Endless Rift adds changing layouts and encounters with no final floor.

Vestiges

Every dungeon victory at difficulty II or higher yields a vestige of that boss at that difficulty. Balances are saved per dungeon and difficulty and never mix upward. Vestiges can be exchanged for a specific eligible piece of that origin and difficulty: 80 for a starter set piece, 120 for intermediate, 180 for advanced, 90 for a shared set, 120 for a common unique and 220 for the heaviest unique. No rubies and no money. Affixes stay random, and the piece is generated before any balance is charged.

The Rift

The Endless Rift opens from the Atlas at level 20, from a refuge, with no paid entry. Its first floor holds level-20 enemies and every floor adds two levels. Layouts and encounters vary between attempts. Every fifth floor has a larger guardian, with 1.75 times the health and 1.15 times the damage of the regular one. A modifier is drawn per floor: robustness, ferocity, celerity or legion, announced before entry.

Loot tier rises with depth: II on floors 1 to 9, III from 10 to 24, IV from 25 to 49 and V from 50 upward, always respecting the minimum level of each item. Records are saved. There is no last floor.
