Equip best considers the whole build
Complete outfits, class skills and set combinations are compared in the background before a single equipment change.
Equipment works as a build. A weaker-looking set piece may unlock a powerful bonus, while a weapon changes which offhand can be worn. Equip best now compares complete outfits before making any changes, with every usable backpack item admitted to the search.
The comparison includes the equipped skills, talents, training, compatible hands, set bonuses and selected special powers. Class estimates now account for effects previously overlooked, including Druid transformation bonuses, Alchemist mixtures, summon durability and the different damage formulas of individual spells.
The game continues while the backpack shows Comparing build. When a stronger eligible outfit is ready, it is equipped together. Previous gear stays in the backpack and loot collected during the comparison is preserved.
Small choice spaces are compared exhaustively. Larger backpacks use a bounded search through complete outfits, hand pairs and set combinations. The result is an estimated PvE build strength, not measured combat DPS or a guarantee of the mathematically strongest build. Favorite items can be locked to preserve a personal build choice.
