Vestiges of the lost: equipment with a purpose

Twenty weapons, ten four-piece sets and ten named legendary weapons bring new choices to every character path.

Every path gains two ordinary weapons, unlocked at levels 24 and 50. Maces, crossbows, paired blades, ritual staves and projectors offer different stat priorities and hand commitments. They can appear in ordinary equipment drops or be crafted, with the normal class and level restrictions.

Ten new collections add forty armor bases across head, hands, legs and feet. Matching named pieces grant a two-piece stat bonus and a four-piece class effect, leaving the chest and accessories free for other equipment. The plain armor bases can be crafted; the named set identity must be earned from its guardian or exchanged for marks.

Ten named legendary weapons modify existing skills. Choir of the Unburied adds a permanent summon within the normal cap. Moon Without a Sky extends the Druid's werewolf form and adds capped life recovery. Light of the Sunless Sky adds a Chain lightning target and extends Astral storm. These bonuses are included in complete-build equipment comparisons and retain normal combat limits.

Torment, the fourth dungeon difficulty, opens these named rewards. Ossarion holds the Arcanist and Necromancer collections; the Pale Matriarch holds Ranger, Assassin and Druid; Mordrak holds Knight, Paladin, Alchemist and Survivor; Nyx holds Riftwalker. Sets require enemy level 35 or higher, and the weapons require level 50 or higher. A generated item's required level can be higher than its minimum unlock.

A set piece costs 180 marks of its guardian and difficulty; a named weapon costs 220. Boss drops use the existing single special-item roll and shared weighted pools. Adding identities does not add an extra roll or increase the rate schedule. All rewards are obtainable through play, without a purchase.

Twenty new weapon illustrations accompany this release. The armor pieces use the existing vocation artwork. Existing owned items keep their rolls, reinforcement, sockets and identities. New equipment offers build choices, not a promise that every newer or rarer item is better than an older combination.
