Companions and mounts become longer-term gold goals, with all existing bonds preserved.
Current prices, version 0.64.2: companions cost 25,000 / 150,000 / 500,000 gold; mounts cost 50,000 / 250,000 / 1,000,000. The 0.64.1 prices below are historical. Existing ownership is preserved.
Companions and mounts are permanent purchases with lasting combat benefits. Their introductory prices made these choices too immediate, so adoption now represents a larger gold investment alongside equipment improvements.
Companions: Dusk Fox costs 5,000 gold at level 3; Iron Hound costs 25,000 at level 10; Moss Drake costs 75,000 at level 20.
Mounts: Wayfarer Horse costs 7,500 gold at level 5; Stone Boar costs 35,000 at level 15; Moon Stag costs 100,000 at level 30.
Existing owned companions and mounts stay owned, with their bond levels and experience intact. No additional payment is charged. Bonuses, attacks, unlock levels and progression remain the same. All six partners can still be obtained through play with ordinary gold.
