Permanent bonds, long-term goals

Companions and mounts grant lasting bonuses and remain with the character. Their gold costs now reflect a longer-term goal, beyond reaching the minimum unlock level.

Companions: Dusk Fox costs 25,000 gold; Iron Hound costs 150,000; Moss Drake costs 500,000. Their minimum levels remain 3, 10 and 20.

Mounts: Wayfarer Horse costs 50,000 gold; Stone Boar costs 250,000; Moon Stag costs 1,000,000. Their minimum levels remain 5, 15 and 30.

Each partner can be obtained with ordinary gold earned through play. The level requirement permits a purchase; it does not mean a character is expected to afford it immediately. Saving time depends on the build, hunting area and other gold spending.

Existing partners remain owned with their bond levels and experience preserved, without an additional charge. Combat bonuses, attacks, movement and bond growth are unchanged.
