Away hunting follows your build

World Auto Hunt no longer adds a reward-scaled delay to every encounter while you are away.

Away world hunts now estimate combat from your build and travel from the distance between targets. Previously, an old minimum encounter time increased with a monster's reward value and could sharply reduce progress even when the character could defeat it quickly.

Account parties use their combined damage and the movement speed of their slowest member. Existing enemy respawns, recovery breaks, loot rules and individual rewards still apply. Short returns preserve unfinished encounters rather than starting each fight again.

Premium retains the full rate for up to seven covered days of absence. Activated XP elixirs also apply to eligible away kills while their hunting duration remains. Free accounts keep their existing time bands: 24 hours at the full rate, then 25% up to 72 hours.

Away hunting is a build-based estimate, not a frame-by-frame replay. Actual earnings vary with enemies, equipment, available targets and recovery. This update changes world-hunt pacing; it does not change Rift encounter timing or award retroactive XP.
