Read the ground, choose your opening
Salt barrages, advancing roots and paired furnace blasts give three world creatures different ways to challenge your positioning.
From level 25, Salt crabs in the world mark three impacts along a fixed line. Step sideways before the barrage falls. From level 40, Bog treants send three roots along a marked trail in sequence. From level 60, Slag elementals mark two blasts with a safe passage between them.
These attacks use visible ground warnings and lock their positions when announced. Their impacts cancel if the source dies or disengages, or the original target is no longer available. Walls protect each party member and companion individually.
Existing charges now show their swept path, and Auto Hunt considers that lane when choosing a position. This charge improvement also applies in instances; the three new regional patterns are limited to the world. Bestiary and quest descriptions explain the level thresholds and counters.
This release builds on the Salt ruins district. It does not change XP rewards, drops, equipment, Premium or away-hunt rules. Away progress remains an estimate of combat rather than a replay of every marked attack. More regional layouts remain future work.
